• This year, our recreational classes will be a semester long. Classes begin on September 14 and run weekly through December 20. Each class will meet once a week on their scheduled evening. Our calendar is based off 11 weeks and our tuition is divided by 4 months.


  • Dancers entering Preschool through Kindergarten are eligible for our combination classes, which explore Ballet, Tap and Creative Movement. Students will have the chance to develop basic dance skills by participating in social, physical and creative activities, all in a fun and enriching environment! 


  • Dancers entering 1st Grade are eligible for our Ballet, Jazz and Tap combination classes. These classes focus on further developing skills in these three styles of dance while also working on building strength and flexibility.  


  • Dancers entering 2nd-5th Grade are eligible for any of our 2nd-5th grade classes that correspond with their grade. We have a variety of styles available: Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Kick, Lyrical, Musical Theater & Tap. Classes are offered in a variety of combinations. 


  • ​Dancers entering 6th-12th Grade are eligible for any of our 6th-12th grade classes that correspond with their grade. We have a variety of styles available: Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical & Tap.


  • ​Each Class will have a class performance towards the end of the semester. 

  • Females in Preschool through 3rd grade will have a required leotard that they will need to order online. We will send out a link. ​
  • 4th-12th grade combo classes are required to wear SMDAC top, any color tights & any color shorts with appropriate shoes for the class. 
  • Males are required to athletic tshirt & shorts/pants.  
  • All dancers must wear required shoes, specific to each class. Shoes are available at the studio for purchase.
  • Hair must be pulled back and secure for class. Hair for ballet must be secured in a bun.
  • Shoes will be available for purchase at SMDAC's Front Desk and our Open Houses, once our new facility is open.
